Topic:
Making (and keeping!) Friends
Making friends is an important part of growing up. But socializing requires LOTS of executive functioning, so sometimes ADHD kids struggle in this realm. This month, join us for a discussion of this common problem. We will share psychological research about causes of social difficulties in ADHD, and we’ll discuss strategies to help your kids make (and keep!) the connections they deserve.
Please bring your challenges and advice for other parents and family members. You are not alone!
Need support related to a different topic? Join us anyway! There will be plenty of open discussion time for general support too.
************************
We will be meeting as a Zoom-only group.
To attend by Zoom, you will need to request an invite.
Only 8-10 people may attend, so call, text or email Sarah May for the invite.
